I called makemytrip from 408-644-5356 or 408-517-0876 on July 7th between 6 pm – 8pm (USA, PST time). Both are my home/mobile numbers. I talked to Rahul. Rahul, thier associate, told me that he is trying booking but is unable to find any confirmation. He told me that he would call me back.

Around 8-9 pm, he called me and told me that tickets prices are increased by 75$ (for each ticket). I told him that “No, I do not want to book this tickets, price is too high”. I requested him to keep trying other options.

Around 11:30, he called me again and told me that “give him more time, he is still trying”. I told him that “it is night time in USA; I am going to sleep, do not book any tickets without my consent, and call me tomorrow”.

Next day, when I checked my mail in the afternoon, I found his mail, stating that he has confirmed some booking against my credit card.

It is sheer unacceptable. What should I do?

I want them to refund my cancellation money of Rs. 16000/- (for 2 tickets, each cancellation cost me Rs. 8000/-) and refund my foreign transaction fee of $81.90 against booking id, IN1107B2529.

Please check their all call traces; calls were made from your side.

Please discourage any of such unethical practices, it has spoilt reputation of makemytrip.

Should I quietly accept this fraud? I am totally determined to take this matter up to the highest officials of makemytrip, until it is resolved.
