I has booked 2 tickets for my family to Kolkatta, which were cancelled. Rs 1500 were deducted as cancellation charges and the balance i was told would remain in my account and could be used at any later date. I used some amount, however a balance of Rs 3824 was still remaining which i wished to use now. On calling Indigo Customer care, i was told that the money had been forfeited.
It has been a very harrowing experience to beg for your own money from a huge corporation, using its might to swallow consumer money, illegaly.
I would like my money refunded, and the airline should be made to pay a very stiff penalty for trying to keep consumer money illegaly. They must be doing this with hundreds of customers, with most not complaining.
