We had booked 3 ticket for the flight it-3143 on 14th feb 2011 from mumbai to mangalore. Ticket was booked by the yatra.Com travel agent and rs. 14,400 was paid for the 3 tickets. Travel date was 17th april 2011 at 3.15pm.

Two days before the flight schedule,I received a call from kf saying the flight is preponed to 11am and now the flight will go via bangalore. The via bangalore flight will now reach mangalore only at 6pm. One of the passenger is 7 months pregnant. Even after insisting them to accomodate us in another flight, they said they had no other option. Either I cancel the ticket or fly via bangalore. Then later again they called saying that the mumbai-bangalore flight will fly at 9am and bangalore-mangalore will fly at 5pm. So the passenger has to spend 6 hrs at the bangalore airport. I objected to this saying we had booked the ticket 3 months in advance and why they are doing this to us. I pleaded them that we have a passenger who is 7 months pregnant and how could you make her suffer with you arrangement. Their only reply was, they have no other alternative.

I cannot allow my wife to travel like this. Thus I cancelled the kf ticket and booked an air india (mumbai mangalore) flight for 18th april 2011. Because of this, I had to book one more day of the hotel were the passengers were staying which costed me rs 3500 more. Also I had to bear the high price of booking air india flight only on 16th april 2011.

Kingfisher had used my money (rs 14400) since 14th feb 2011. And then they cancel the flight route. I inquired with few others, they say the whole route is cancelled. Many others also had to suffer in the similar fashion. Today is 2nd may 2011 and I am still to get my refund of the cancelled tickets.

They are cheating the passengers by booking tickets and then cancelling the flight. They dont even give preference to customers who has booked tickets well in advance.

This is the second time it is happening to me. Earleir also, they had cancelled the mangalore mumbai flight and preponed it to some other flight. I have the details for that also.

Please kindly help. How do I sue them ? I need my losses back. For no fault of mine, I and my family had to suffer specially my wife.

Please help.
