    Default Payment not refunded for failed transaction by makemytrip.com

    Dear All,

    It has been an annoying and frustrating experience of dealing with Makemytrip. I made a booking on 11 March 2011 for a trip from London to Delhi and paid 24,539 from my account with oriental bank of commerce. The payment was deducted from my account but booking ID was not generated. I call them immediately and they told me it will take 6 hours for me to get my booking ID.

    6 hours passed but nothing happened. I called them again on 12 march 2011 and they told me that they will refund the amount within 3 working days and gave me a confirmation number in 1103r0059373. They also told me to send a mail with my bank statement to internationalbookings@makemytrip.com. I got a Reference ID: 110312-027015 for this email. this email said they will contact me within 24 hours but no reply till date.

    3 working days got over on march 16 and i called them again on march 17 2011. they said that payment is stuck with payment gateway and they cannot do anything.

    Now should I go to the court to get my money back or to some other agency.

    I want my money back with a interest rate of 50% per month.

    well dmehtani whats ur position now did u get ur refund...
    if not the pm me i will hwlp u out once my payement of 50k was strucked, i was in same position which was u r in.....

    Hi mayank,

    I was booking flight tickets from makemytrip and the transaction failed trice and amount got debited from my account. I talked to makemytrip customer care and they have given me bookinmg Id and told me tht they would call me back but I have not got any call till now. Kindly help me in getting my money refunded.

    Default Refund not made till date by Makemytrip.com

    My name is Varghese Philip.
    I had made a booking on makemytrip.com but after the booking was made and cash was transferred ,I was informed that the seats have been sold out and there were no more seats available.A ticket was not provided for this transaction.I was provided a Cancellation number and accompanying details and was informed that the amount of 17221 Rupees would be refunded on 03/09/2011.

    The same issue happened when I had made another booking for Kochi- Mumbai flight on 03/09/2011 and this time the amount to be refunded was 4426 Rupees .But till date I have received no refund and neither has there been any intimation in this regard.

    Please look into the matter and take necessary action as immediately as possible.

You are also requested to email the same at triphelp@makemytrip.com quoting your booking id in the subject in order to assist you better.     Unhappy No refund from MAKEMYTRIP for failed transacns.

    I tried making two transactions on 9th Nov. Both of these transactions failed (Id's -@NF2513612615932 and@NF2513612616944). Each transaction was worth Rs.18,638/-.@After each failed transaction, I called "MakeMyTrip" to inform them about the same and get a confirmation on the failure. Each time I was told that my refund will be processed in 3 working days. After 3 working days, I started following up with the customer care department of "MakeMyTrip" and received vague replies like "it's pending", "need to check with our accounts deptt.", "check with your bank since it's cleared from our side". I checked with my bank (HDFC Bank) and they provided me a reply that they have not received any amount from "MakeMyTrip" to credit in my account. I also provided my bank statement to "MakeMyTrip" twice to facilitate this issue. My personal banker from HDFC Bank is ready to get on a conf call with "MakeMyTrip" too. I have been calling "MakeMyTrip" almost every alternate day and it's more than 10 working days now but I have not received any concrete answer on the whereabouts of my money.@It has been an extremely frustrating and harassing experience for me to deal with "MakeMyTrip" and I shall never ever recommend anyone to use it in future and neither will I use it. Especially the customer care center is extremely rude in their discussions and have not at all been helpful till now.Kindly let me know how can I recover my hard-earned money.Best regards,Anupama MishraEmail - amishra81@gmail.comMobile - 9820029746

    Default No refund by makemytrip after failed transaction.

    I tried to book flight ticket from BLR to LKO on the night of 23-12-2011. The money was deducted from account and but the ticket was not generated. I waiited for 10 hrs and then called MakeMytrip
    customer care next day morning and told them about the transaction. They said that money will be refunded in 3 working days. And suggested me to go with a fresh booking.

    On 24-12-2011 I again tried to book the flight ticket, once again the money was deducted from my account but ticket was not generated. I again called them and they said for this transaction as well
    money will be refunded in 3 working days. Until today (4-jan-2012) I have not got any refund neither a concrete reply from them.

    Refrence Id for 24-12-2011 transaction is NF2201714150577. And a complaint number for both of these transaction is : IN1112B17069. The amount deducted on both the instances was Rs. 8872.
    The email id used was :harikeshtripathi@yahoo.com

    I have called MakeMytrip 3-4 times every time after waiting for 3 working days. And every time I get a assurance that money will be refunded in 3 working days. Today again I got a reply that money
    will be refunded in 3 working days. Looks like this is their general answer to all the complaints.

    This is the worst experience of my life with any of the service providers from any field. Hats off to makemytrip

    Can some from this forum help me in this regard? I clueless about how to get my refund from MakeMyTrip.

    Hello,

    I have still not got any refund from MakeMyTrip for the above transaction. More than 25 days have passed till now. I was promised to me that It will be reverted in 3 working days. MakeMytrip customer care does not provide any information. They will say we wait for today evening Or wait for next 3 working days.

    There are also not providing any information using which I can contact my bank and ask about the refund. They will just say that they have send an email to my bank. If they are doing any reversal they must
    provide me transaction Id, using which I can talk to my bank. Looks like they are just doing time pass.

    I have still not got my refund from Makemytrip for the above complaint. Can some one on this forum help me out in getting refund from Makemytrip. I have provided all the information which Makemytrip have asked for , still no action from there side. I have called customer care many times and as suggested by customer care I have waited enough till today. Can some please help me out.

    I have still not got any refund from MakeMyTrip. They provide me some false transaction numbers. When I contacted my bank with those details they said that money is still not refunded from the MakeMyTrip. Today is
    23-Jan-2012 and I am waiting for refund since 24-dec-2011. One whole month has passed and no progress.

    Apart from this I do not get any update from MakeMyTrip until or unless I call them up. They promise something and then sleep on it. I am being mentally and financially harassed by these guys. I will go to consumer court.

    This is regrading above post. Today it is more than a month and I have not yet got my refund. Can someone on this post help me in filing a case in consumer court.

    Angry money deducted, ticket not booked

    Hi,

    I tried to book an air ticket from makemytrip website for the flight Jet Lite S2-364 on 17 th April from Guwahari to Bangalore.

    But, while paying the money through online banking, an amount of Rs 5029 got deducted and the ticket did not get booked, nor did I get any booking ID.

    Please let me know when will I get the money back as early as possible.
