Hi,

I was been promised my the officials of Air Asia that I will get a refund within a weeks time, however I have been waiting for my refund of Rs 6420/- from Air Asia since 2 months now. I was charged extra at the mumbai Airport just before boarding the flight for their silly mistake.
Below is the mail sent to Air Asia on the 7th of Jan.

Hi,

I am writing this mail with great disappointment. We were highly
dissatisfied with the Air Asia service while our travel to Malaysia.

I had booked return tickets Bom - Kul - Bom for the period 15 Dec 10 - 29
Dec 10 with the PNR no: A5UM8J.
However since our parents were supposed to stay in Malaysia until 14 Dec, we
planned to changed our dates instead of 15 Dec we wanted to travel on the 8
Dec. However, while i was online with the customer care trying to change the
dates there was some technical problem due to which we could not proceed
with the changes. So I was told by the customer care that I can try again
later.

But later we decided to fly on the same date i.e 15 Dec, so there was no
need for a date change.
However, when we arrived at the airport, the AIr Asia officials told us that
there was some pending payment on our name, unless paid we will not be
allowed to board the flight, we had to explain them the entire case after
which they request us to make the payment of Rs 6420/- which they assured us
will be refunded back to the account since it was unnecessary payment.
