    Hi,

    I booked a flight through MakemyTrip on 29th November. Unfortunately i was not able to catch the flight. My booking ID is NF251211767811. I cancelled the flight thorugh Jet Lite at Delhi Airport 15 minutes before the departure of flight. Jet Lite official told me that i need to claim refund with MakemyTrip.

    I contacted MakemyTrip after a week back. It is been two months but i did not get any respose fro MakemyTrip. I called them atleast 10 times. They asked me for flight cancellation documenrts and i provided them as well but still they have not refunded the amount.

    I have email from MakeMyTrip which states that amount will be refunded in a week. Please can someone help me to get my refund. Below are my flight details

    With reference to your post and as communicated to you by our representative, your refund is under process and the same will take 5 business days to reflect in your account.

    Hi,

    I got last response from makemytrip on 18th Jan which is stated below. According to this email also i should get my refund in 5 working days but i did not recieve anything till date. Can you explain what caused this delay. If you can book ticket in one day why can't you pay refund the money in 2 months. I am still not clear what is happening out there. I even sent an email to Sahil asking for status but he did not respond. I asked for an email id of some manager whom i can escalate this incident but he refused to reveal any detail.

    Can someone from makemytrip respond to these queries and give me an an end date for my refund as by the end of 9th feb i did not get my refund.

    Latest reposne which i got from makemytrip is that i boarded the flight and they need the stamped document which i already forwarded them. If no boarding pass was issued then how can i board the flight...i cancelled the flight from airport and forwarded him the scanned document... . Can someone help me on this regard.. They cannot just take people money like this..Here is the latest response from makemytrip. They want me to send the stamped document which states that refund is applicable . Which document is that. I have sent them the ticket cancellation document.. i did not board the flight.I booked another flight for which i paid 12000 rs.
    I asked them for the communication from jetlite which states that i boarded the flight.

    Please can consumer court help me on this regards. Here is the latest response from makemytrip

    This is in reference to your complaint in regards to booking id. We would like to inform you that we will not be able to process the refund for your booking since we have checked with airlines and as per them the ticket was used by the passenger further if you are looking for the refund ,then we would request you tot send us the stamped documents from airlines saying that refund is applicable.

    Please note that we called you on the registered number but we were not able to get in touch with you so we are forwarding this mail

    Default Complaint against MakeMyTrip

    I had the misfortune of Booking on MakeMyTrip.com India website.I had booked a round trip domestic ticket on 31st Aug 2012 costing Rs. 10221.Reference ID 120831-037405.The money has got debited from my HDFC a/c but the transaction says unsuccessful.I have been following up with MakeMyTrip ever since.It has been 23 days now and yet I haven't recd the refund inspite of already sharing the bank stmt in required format.A very harrowing experience with the Customer Care officials who have no clue about the back end process.


    Class Action Suit anyone? I am pissed off at MakeMyTrip, now that they are listed in US, they better be paying attention to customer care, there is none to speak of, as of now.
