I am Dr. Shweta. I had booked a Jet Airways flight ticket for 23rd Jan 2011 from Kolkata to Delhi, about a month ago (on 19th Dec 2010). The flight was scheduled to depart at 1945 hours.

I had already reached the airport at about 1830 hours, and was at the Jet Airways counter at 1845 hours. There were some passengers in the queue and it took me about 5 minutes before I reached the counter. There was a passenger ahead of me who was also enroute to Delhi as well, and was having trouble with Jet staff, since they were saying that check-in for Delhi has been closed. When I asked them why it has been closed, as there was still time for check-in, they gave no particular reason and said that Delhi was closed now. After much argument, a Jet staff took my ticket and wrote 1903 time and said that I was late by THREE minutes for check-in and I can't board the flight now, even when I pointed out that they themselves had been holding me all this time.

A few more Delhi passengers had arrived by now and after much arguments, we still had no luck. Finally I had to buy a new ticket (Kingfisher airlines @Rs 6000) and cancel the Jet one.

I want to file a complaint against Jet Airways for such a bad behavior, misconduct and harassment.
