I, along with my collegue Mr. AK Nanda, flied from New Delhi to Bhubaneswarin the Indigo flight 6E-259 on 16th January 2011. One of our baggage was missing and we lodged a complaint at the respective counter. The tag of the missing baggage is 0000049334. I was told that the baggage would be found and sent to me within a day or two but it still haven't arrived. I tried calling the concerned department many times but their response was not informative.

Later, when I tried calling at that number, nobody picked up the phone. Afterwards, i received a mail from Indigo customer support department that they will be giving me a compensation of Rs. 3000/- only as the bag is of 15 kg (Rs. 200 per kg x 15 kgs = Rs. 3000/-), which was very disheartening. The bag contained some importatnt official documents, which can not be measured in weight and personal belongnings worth more than Rs. 15,000/-.

After searching a lot on the internet, I found that Indigo is very careless in this department and we are not the first one to be harassed this way.
Please tell me what should I do.
