    Default Spice Jet Airlines | Money Refund after transaction failed

    I have tried to book one flight ticket online with Spice Jet Airlines on 8th May 2009. After making the payments, the transaction failed due to some reasons but the amount was debited from my Citibank savings account.

    I logged the complaint thorugh Spice Jet website with the required information. I even receieved one mail from the Customer Relations Department (Shalu Rana) asking for some additional information like Issuing Bank, Amount Debited, Date of Transation which I provided on 14th May 09. The Customer Relations Department promised to get back to me with the updates at the earliest but so far I haven't heard back anything from them.

    I even tried to call the Helpline number but got no success to talk to any executive. Its been 12 days the amount is debited from my account. This is extremely disappointing when you don't hear back any updates after logging complaints. It looks like they don't care and pay attention to the consumer's grievances.

    It is simple. If you have made the transaction through your credit card - call up your credit card customer care and ask them the procedure for disputing a charge. You would just have to fill up a form and fax it to them. They will take care of the rest.

    No need to go to consumer court for this.

    Resevation Status: Cancelled
    payment summary
    credit account
    credited - 4/21/09 Rs.1,878.00
    The cancelation was done on 21 April but it was not adjusted till date. it was retained at credtit shell with spicejet. However i have booked a ticket in the name of surrudhi velu for travel from chennai to ahmadhabed on 25 April 2009 by flight spicejet. hence i request adjustment of a credit balance
