    Thumbs down Air India: Extremely poor service

    Air India:

    I was boarding the flight: IC 616, HYD-MUM, and my flight got rescheduled to 8:15 AM. This is without prior information and I was asked to stay in the airport for 6 hours without any reason or any alternate solution offered to me.

    I wasn't offered any help by the Air India support staff at the airport. I was asked to do the following things:

    - I was offered a refund, which meant I book the flight: Indigo flight (for 6 AM as I had to reach Mumbai before 8 AM on 6.10.10). Highly inconvenient... this also meant my staying in the airport for another 5 hours. The indigo flight booked was 600 rupees more expensive than my earlier Air India flight, which was booked way in advance.

    - to fly on Air India at 8:15. With my reaching the airport at 11:30 PM for my flight, this meant I stay in the airport for around six hours. There was no facility to sit/sleep, no lodging provided by Air India even when I was ready to pay up to my budget.

    - to go and stay in a private accommodation, and come back to the airport in time for the rescheduled flight (again, no help from Air India on this front too)

    I am shocked. This is a single female traveler in an unknown city, and no advice/help is offered whatsoever.

    How am I to proceed ahead with this... and who's to refund the lack of sleep, inconveninece, disgust at the airlines??

    Thumbs down Ordeal of my dependents

    I booked Air India ticket without reading reviews online, and writing one after seeing their service at Mumbai Airport.

    My wife is traveling USA with 2 old year baby and she has 2 cabin baggage and a kids trolly, when she landed from Chennai to board Air India flight, there was no help offered to handle the language till next terminal, where as in other private airlines they have staff even to help people who are single and above 50 years.

    One day AI need to close the shop if they are this much unfriendly with their customers.
