Hello,

Please find attached all the related documents of my claim for the lost
baggage in British Airways flight (BA 119) from London to Bangalore on
20-Sep-2008. As mentioned in my earlier mail, British Airways have delayed
the process so far which brought me to seek help from Consumer Court.

Finally they have responded back but with a details which is not very
convincing to me. They are not ready to give me money for most of the items
which I had lost in the flight giving the reason that those items should be
there in the Cabin Baggage not in Check-In Baggage. I believe, when they
have restriction of carrying only 8 KG of luggages in Cabin Baggage, it's
not possible to carry all those items in Cabin Baggage. I am also attaching
the mail from British Airways below.

I would request you to step into this matter and help me to recover from the
loss I incurred while traveling in British Airways flight.

Please let me know if you require anything else from my side.

Thanks,

Richa

Hello,

This is regarding my lost bag. I have lost my baggage in BA119 (British
airways flight) while travelling from London to Bangalore on 22nd sept
2008.
I waited for 1 month as they kept saying that that they are tracing my
bag
and could not claim during that time. BA declared it as lost after 1
month
and suggested me to claim. I claimed for my luggage using their website.
However I did not get any response till date. I have sent all the
documents
too to British airways office at Bangalore airport as suggested by BA
contact team but I have not receive any communication. Could you please
tell
me what I should do?
I would like to take legal action as I am not getting any response on
my
claim from their side. Please advice on what my next step could be. An
early
response would be highly appreciated.

Thanks,
Richa
