“I traveled from Altanta, USA to Mumbai, India on 15 Apr09 through KL622 via Amsterdam reached 16Apr09. I checked in 2 baggages the tag details of the baggage are as below
NW220670, NW220669.
As soon as i reached Mumbai I found my bags were missing, it didn’t come in the same flight, so I filed a complaint with KLM representative (property irregularity report) over there. They took the full responsibility to deliver the bag to me as the delay was caused by the airlines. I called so many times to the customer care, but I didn’t get proper answer I was totally upset wit the answers given by them. And finally I got the bags today by courier after a delay of 2 days but with more missing items. The bag was totally damaged and my items (valuable Dresses, watches, camera, chocolates) in the bag were being theft.
I filed a compliant with the KLM customer care, the number is DPRBOMNW51666.
This happened because of the delay of delivering my bags. And it’s all because of the poor service of the airlines.
I request you to take all the responsibilities for the damage and theft of items in the bag. Need to take immediate action against the person who made it.
Damage and cost of the theft items is around $1200. I request you to guide me for getting the compensation for the delay and for the goods.”
Please help me as I am totally upset with this,
Can i go for a Consumer court and register a complaint?
Can i get compensation?
