I wanted to buy a ticket from makemytrip.com but due to difficulties in payment of money, I had to ask my father to buy ticket of the desired flight i.e. Etihad Airways, Kazan-Mumbai-Kazan. My father booked and paid the required amount at the Nagpur office- to Nitu Singh. My father also told about the dates i.e. 1st June 2010 from Kazan and return date of 30th August from Mumbai. After payment of money, he was waiting for a copy of ticket in hand but she refused saying it will take time and the office is closing now. She mailed me a copy of the ticket the next day. I checked it four days later in my mailbox. The return date was wrong. It was 30th JUNE instead of 30th AUGUST. So I wrote to makemytrip.com, where a person named Rachit Mathur said he'll reply within 24hrs, but never showed up!
So I mailed to Nitu Singh(girl from Nagpur office) in the same regard. She directly mailed me saying: "Date change charges: 7500Rs." and said its not their mistake but fathers' which is highly impossible. This mistake would have been avoided if she would have handed him the ticket then and there,...which she didn't! And now they expect me to pay for the Human error! Why??
