Dear Sir/Madam,

I regret to inform you that I had booked Flight no. AI111 for my friend Prateek Jain on 27th March, 2010 to travel on 28th March. When he went to the counter, he was shocked to learn that they had no record of the ticket and it seemed to have been cancelled. Whereas the same was shown under successful booking at that time in my account with username 'mkmandelia'. Neither the money has been refunded and on top of that, Prateek had to suffer a lot of harassment.

The PNR Number given to me by Kolkata office is HFPS5. Because of the confusion, not only did he miss the flight but also had to book another by paying a much hefty fees of INR 6800 to Indigo flight no 6E 201. I request you to kindly look into this and arrange for reimbursement of both the ticket amount charged by Air India as well as the money paid for the new ticket. Please note that my account has been debited and the Yatrik cell has conveyed to me that it no longer looks into such matters. I therein request your intervention and expect a reply at the earliest.
