For the PNR "BFPBAH" for my travel from Hyderabad to Chennai, when I wanted to CANCEL the ticket a shortwhile ago on the customer care I was shocked to know that forget about refund..a change or cancellation is not possible at all since it is a defence booking.

May I know if defence personnel cant have change of plans? Infact they should be given more flexibility to change or cancel though owing to their contributions and problems they endure.

For the same sector the return ticket as defence booking, thankfully I got done thru INDIGO and they just charged the cacellation fee and processed full refund.

It is absurd for SPICEJET to have such a policy and it is against basic, legal, ethical business practices...it is customer unfriendly, manipulative and absolute flouting of regulations.
While submitting this complaint, I also want to know how to pursue them legally and as I am new in hyderabad would be thankful if a lawyer is referred to or the consumer redressal mechanism is initiated on behalf of me against SPICEJET and a suitable compensation filed.
