I had booked SG 804 Mumbai to Kolkata flight on 18th Sept 09, 19.45 hrs. (Airline PNR: Z1WJDT). I reached check-in counter at 19.15 hrs. As there was a long queue I approached the floor assistant to help me to speed up the check-in process. I was very very disappointed with the floor assistant as instead of helping he directly said that I cannot board the flight. He kept on arguing with me and lessening the possibility of boarding the flight. After 5 minutes I was handed over to another floor assistant who again kept on wasting time. Ultimately I couldn’t board the flight.
I was trying Customer Service telephone no. 09871803333 didn’t answer. I had dialed this no. but there was no response and my call was kept on hold for 10 mins.
Also in the ticket, which I got online from MakeMyTrip, no where the reporting time was mentioned.
Like other airlines do Spice Jet was also supposed to give final call to the customer but final call was not given to me though they had all the contact details with them.
I wanted to escalate my problem but Spice Jet people didn’t let me meet any higher authorities.
For me it was very urgent to reach Kolkata on 18th Sept 09 which I could not make because of poor customer service provided by Spice Jet.
I had very bad experience of poor customer service and I want Spice Jet to refund my fare amount Rs. 4929 and Rs. 10000 towards compensation.
