I had bought a Voltas Air Conditioner Split 0.75T Vertis Gold from Alpha Shop, Irla Market, Mumbai on 26/03/2011 (IMEI #: 50322/ 50326). Even before the first free service was due, I had complained regarding 'No Cooling' which was resolved by taking both the compressor and the blower units taken for repair. Leakage of compressor/cooling gas was cited as the reason for 'no cooling'. After this, before the second service was due, the air conditioner again started giving complains of 'no cooling', reason for which was yet again diagnosed as leakage of compressor/cooling gas. Both the AC units have again been dismantled and taken for repair and this is a very troublesome process.

The defective air conditioning unit has amounted to loss of electricity, time and peace of mind for me. As it has already been repaired once without any satisfactory result, I request you to please replace the faulty/defective unit (which is still under warranty) with a new one or refund back my money. Sadly, I have come to know that other customers have also experienced similar problems with their Voltas air conditioners. Having immense trust in a Indian brand coming from the reputed house of Tatas, I had purchased Voltas AC giving it preference above other good brands like Samsung, LG and I seriously hope my faith in your brand will be maintained.
