    Default Poor service of LG AC

    Hi ,



    We have purchased 1.5 tones LG split Air conditioner Model .
    LG-LSA5NW2VF1AA49DRI(IN)- Serial no (904ABKDO10477) from Rathna Cools
    Pvt. Ltd. 37/1 , Rajabadher Street T. Nagar, Chennai on Invoice No 5975
    dated 02/05/2009 and the product is under warranty of one year from the
    date of installation.



    The AC was not found to be working satisfactorily right from the date of
    installation and we had registered repeated complaints (July 10) with LG
    to fix the problems several times and their mechanic visited (August 1)
    and he reported that there was some leakage of gas from the unit and
    they filled the Gas in AC (After 20 days from the reported date) . They
    did some welding as well to plug leakage before filling the gas and
    assured that AC would work properly. Immediately after 15 days after the
    repairs were carried out we noticed the same problem of gas leakage. We
    had launched the complaint again but still waiting for them to clear the
    problem. It is not even two months since bought this AC. The mechanics
    pretended to carry out some adjustments / repairs so to RESTART the AC
    and thus kept the units in the running condition somehow or the other
    but the AC without effective cooling never worked to our full
    satisfaction.



    It is very difficult for any individual to find out the names and
    telephone numbers of any responsible executive of any MULTINATIONAL
    companies, which normally do not disclose even their addresses of the
    offices in India and are working in India with the help of Franchises.
    Even if we get their number there is not a proper response from them.
    There is no proper service and around 1000 rupees we spent reaching the
    customer care itself. We lost the hope on LG products.



    Unless suitable steps are taken to safeguard the interest of the
    CONSUMER and Stringent Punishments are prescribed in Law , it is feared
    that they would continue to play with the consumers and would never feel
    accountable in INDIA and the Consumers like me, would continue to be at
    their Mercy and may suffer from Mental torture and agony besides huge
    financial losses. I need my money back or to provide a long lasting
    solution for this problem. Otherwise the product should be banned to
    avoid innocent middle class people suffer from mental torture



    Required Relief LG SHOULD PROVIDE QUALITY PRODUCTS TO ENSURE EFFECTIVE
    COOLING AND PROPER LONGIVITY OF THESE COSTLY ITEMS IN INDIAN CLIMATE,
    WHICH ARE INSTALLED TO CATER LONG TERM REQUIREMENTS

    Question Defective product of LG Split AC model No.–1SANW2VF1

    To : M/s Bharat Electro Store, Date: 30th Oct. 2009.
    110, Suraj pole Pali (Rajasthan)

    Subject : Defective product of Split AC model No. – 1SANW2VF1
    Reference : Invoice no. 4318 on dated 27/04/2009.
    Registered complain to LG customer care are :-
    I – N9C62606169 On dated 26/06/2009,
    II – N9C73003203 On dated 30/07/2009,
    III – C09A2900628 On dated 29/10/2009.

    Against afore mentioned complaints & personal telephonic conversations my AC purchased from you is still not working which was purchased on 27.04.09.

    On account of its non performance I along with my family have suffered mental agony, harassment & discomfort.

    You are requested to attend my complaint on priority assuring me of replacement of the asset by issuing me fresh piece & its smooth installation/functioning of the asset in question to avoid any legal action against your goodself.

    Default Poor After Sale Service of L.G. Air Conditioner !

    Sir,
    I had unfortunately purchaed L.G. Window AC last year. I am addressing it as "unfortunately" because during the last one year no Service Engineer visited the house to provide servicing of the AC inspite of several requests. Recently I again registered my complain on 26.04.2012 and all in vain as no body cared towards my complaint.

    There after I contacted twice on toll free number 1800 180 9999 but the representatives could not give any satisfactory reply.

    When I insisted to take strict action against the representative responsible for not attending the complaint dated 26.04.2012 they expressed their inability to do so for the reason best known to them !

    Dear L.G Team,

    I would like to air my complaints about the very poor service that I have confronted from your side. I have purchased LG A/C from your company. Unfortunately, After warranty period it has fallen far short of my expectations. Though I have opted AMC option for future prospective. I called up at your customer care (18001809999) many times for cooling and noise in compressor issues but always they made false commitment to send a person within 24 hours . Below are some current updates which I have received from your customer care:-

    Date 7th May 2012- RNA120507080198 :- Service technician came to check and found no fault but problem is still there .
    Date 8th May 2012- RNA120508012625 :- Service technician picked up the A/C and returned back on next day in same condition. These guys has also made minor dents and scratches on it. No satisfactory reply from technicians.
    Date 10th May 2012- RNA120510029248 :- Called up at customer care but not received any satisfactory reply as usual. Infect they have not entertained my issue properly. As per there records problem is resolved which is absolutely blunder.
    Date 18th May 2012- RNA120518034662:- Had a world with Nagesh from customer care. He again committed to send a person within 24 hours for resolution and provided contact no of his supervisor Ms. Anju (never picked up the phone) also.

    My A/C ‘s compressor is in very poor condition and we won’t be amazed if it get burst someday. You all are requested to take it on urgent basis. Otherwise I won’t hesitate to report this incident to the Better Business Bureau and state and consumer agencies, as well as popular consumer advocacy blogs.
