We bought a Voltas 1.5 split AC from Viveks Ltd. (Purasawalkam) on 18th Jul'09(Sat), delivered on 19th Jul'09(Sun) and we were committed that the installation will be done 20th Jul'09, but after a delay it was installed on 21st Jul'09. Within a two weeks time, the cooling effect & the performance of the AC gradually stopped and on 1/8/09 we called the showroom to complain on the same, but there was no response from them. On 4/8/09 we called the showroom to find the status and none of them was aware of the problem and we have been given the service tel no 42131616. On the same day we called the service centre and complained on the same, we received a sms alert saying the technician will attend on 5/8/09 at 12.30 noon but no one turned up. When we called the service centre, we have been committed that the technician will attend the fault within a day, but after such a delay the technician had attended the fault on 8/8/09. The technician said that there's GAS LEAKAGE AND GAS IS COMPLETELY EXHAUSTED, the technician who attended the fault was a contract employee, hence he said that the service centre will send a technician from direct Viveks Ltd., but no one turned and when we called up to find, no one responded properly and finally we called Voltas service manager and he asked the assistant service manager-Viveks Ltd. to call my mobile. The service manager Mr. Hariharan from Viveks Ltd. called and taken time till Tuesday 11/8/09. We're highly restless because of this problem and they have almost wasted our time by giving false commitments. From the beginning till date there's no proper response from any of their staffs. We're not aware if there's a problem in the installation or the unit itself. If the problem is not fixed further, i would like to have an replacement on the same or the refund the money back.
