    Default samsung 1.5 window A.C complaint

    I have purchased my Samsung A.C in 2009 and as soon the warranty period of 1year got over my A.C started giving recurring problems till date. Last year when I registered complaint with customer care of samsung,their technician Tinku Singh came and repaired the A.C. This year same problem cropped up and we registered a complaint with the customer care on 12.10.2011. and again Mr. Tinku Singh was sent. He told us the capacitor of the A.C is damaged and on his advice we replaced it for which we were charged service charge and the cost of the spare part. Our call no. was 4121055291. But after 3 days only the same problem cropped up. Again we registered a complaint on 17.10.2011. and again this Mr.Tinku Singh was sent. Now he is telling us the motor is damaged and needs to be replaced for which we have to pay an exorbitant amount. We are helpless and are not understanding whether he is taking us for a ride or its the fault of Samsung that they have cheated us and have sold us a product with a manufacturing defect.

    Thumbs down Samsung Air conditioner replacing issue

    Sir,

    I have purchased one Samsung Air conditioner model AS 183UGAXSTL /UGANSTL AT A COST OF Rs.23,850 on 25-6-2010 from SATHYA AGENCIES, THIRUVANMIYUR. Since the conditioner is not producing cool air. I asked Alfa Refrigeration Co.1A/1Dhanakkottiraja Street, Sunder nagar Ekkatuthankal,Chennai600 032 to attend the problem The Service engineer had attend on 18-8- 2011. While repairing, they have said that washer provided to connect the gas tube was weakened thereby causing gas leakage. They serviced it by providing two washers instead of one already in existence and filled the gas. It clearly shows that it is only manufacturing defect that the company have not put in even standard washers to avoid leakage of gas. I came to understand ,the modal I purchased was a failure one .Since , one year have lapsed from the date of purchase, service charge of Rs.2541 was paid by us vide receipt no33723/18-8-2011. The technicians assured three months guarantee for their service and to refill gas without any further cost.
    However, the same problem occurred and a complaint was registered by us under 8429068192. With Alfa Refrigeration Co the engineer inspected it on 19- 9-2011. We told that the conditioner take three to four hours to cool the room. The instrument is functioning then. After operating the instrument he said that due to the leakage of gas, the problem would have been arisen .He promised to send the technicians to refill gas. Since the same problem recurred within one month after the paid service, we expect free service. When the technicians came on 21-9-2011, they examined the outdoor unit with soap water to find out the leakage when under running condition. However the unit was short circuited with a sound and consequently the compressor, coil were damaged .Hence we asked to replace the unit as the damage was caused by the authorized service centre or due to manufacturing defect. The service centre demanding us Rs 3413 for job no4119907748dt.27-9-2011 replacing condenser and coil. . However they pleased to agree to replace the compressor and gas as warranty exits. In fact the coil and compressor etc were damaged while under taking service by technicians for which customer could not be penalized. The customer already spent Rs.2541 for refilling gas on18-8-2011. A responsible person in the service centre (Thiru Michael 9962518402 )contacted they said that cannot do more and requested me to contact the company for further request.
    I therefore requested the company Somsung Service Network to intervene and replace new one.. In view of the damage caused to the unit, I reiterate my request to replace the unit by new one and oblige without any cost and delay.
    In this connection I have raised the following quarries,
    Whether air conditioner will function without compressor and condenser on 19-9-2011 when service engineer thiru karthir (cell; 9940134287) visited.
    Whether customer will be held responsible for the damage caused by the authorized service centre on21-9-2011. (The compressor and condenser are in good condition on 19-9-2011 but the conditioner takes three to four hours to cool room. That is the complaint)
    If the instrument often under repair even within one and half year, how a customer will bear?
    However the company replied that someone will contact us but no one contact us
    I request to help to resolve the problem

    I feel so sorry for you dear. Its been a bad experience for you dear and your money has been a waster too. Never mind, from next time you can go for other brands like Daikin Toshiba, Hitachi etc.

    Unhappy Samsung 1.5 ton Cube AC complaint- non-complaince

    Dear Sir,
    I have registered my complain of the said ac. The complain number being 017824 registered by my son's mobile phone number 9889503081. This complain was registered on 5th April , 2012. The warranty period expired on 7th April, 2012.

    I registered two complaints- poor cooling and abnormal sound that comes intermittently from the indoor unit. While registering the complaint I reiterated that the second problem persists right from the first day of installation and every time the mechanics who attended failed to address this problem. The person who registered the compliant said that within warranty period this time an engineer of your esteemed company would visit and address the problems effectively. However, again a mechanic of your company's service center of Varanasi Named "Naushad" (mobile number 8935003159) came and attended the complaint. He said that the AC needs service and cooling problem as well as the sound problem will go away. However, the sound problem was not rectified by the said mechanic and he said that some engineer of his service centre will come and attend the problem. Then I requested that please mention this in your logbook and get it signed by me. In response to this he replied that there is no such need. Despite this, I supplied him a copy of the purchase receipt on which I mentioned in Hindi that the problem has not been solved and signed it. After a couple of days I called the mechanic then he said that a new complint number has been sent to them from higher authorities and he will come next day with engineer. Since then I have been calling the said Naushad (the mechanic of the VARANASI service centre) again and again and every time I get the same response that they will look into this matter but nobody has come yet to my house.

    I am unhappy to report you that the problem that was brought to your notice from the first day of installation has not been addressed within the Warranty period and the warranty period expired. Every time your call cntre executives say that some engineer will attend the problem and always a semi-skilled mechanic came who somehow attended partially the one problem and that too on trial and error basis.

    I am very unhappy with the after sales services provided by you. I feel least motivated to purchase anything in future from your company.You should never claim for the services you can not provide. If my problem is not solved then I will move to consumer forum for this matter.

    we very much regretfully to write you that on my various complaints to the dealer regarding not working of split a.c which purchased in the m\o june 2010,
    from Shreeji Sales,Ramnagar,Sabarmati,Ahmedabad 380005.i have very much trust to purchase your products but in this case i feel very bad experience to purchase said a.c, When my a.c was not working with in warranty period so i called my Dealer for short out my a.c problem but they ignore and after warranty period they come so i paid 1700 rs for servies then next 8 month i paid 3800 rs for another service but now my problem is not short out. I m very sad to say In your service centre rerpresentative ignoring complaints even then not pick up of phone.it is my humble request to see this matter most urgent to unable us to trust on samsung products.

    sir,
    i am jaishankar, i am purchase new samsung spilt ac on 15th apl. at shah & co chorompet. he will delevered on next day and i informed dealer kindly send service man fixed the ac. but still so for not fixed. i informed service centre mr. PRABAKER RAO he dupted mr, jayabasker. he will not responced properly. i have contract more than 25 times, dealer sercice centre, dealer point mr. raja. i have very very upset for purchase new ac at your company make. so will goto consumarcourt to filed the case proper service, and i have very mantal tracher, half day lass off pay,my phone call expence, time waste. so ready to met consumar court.

    Post SUMSUNG AC1.5T Split-Complaints since installation

    I purchased one SAMSUNG AC 1.5 T model bearing no. AS182FBB/2010(B022PZBZ508279,BO21PZAZ510232) from MOHAN ELECTRONICS,P.N.Ghosh Street, Purulia, Telephone:03252228351, VAT No. 19751553027 on 19.06.2010 by invoice no.2443 amounting of Rs.21000/- though I had to pay Rs.22000/- at that time. Installation was made few months later after repeatedly approached and at that moment it was not used as summer had gone. It was noticed that AC was not cooled in first time use at next summer and complaint was lodged verbally to the Dealer but he is not so much interest to provide service instantly. After four weeks and after calling SAMSUNG Service Centre at Bankura, Ph. No.03242250280 trouble has been temporarily sorted out by charging Refrigerant though the question why the Refrigerant is wiped out as the Machine is new and not in use is not sorted out.Hence,the demand to replace the machine as it was within guarantee /warranty period was raised but to no avail though at that time as per their recommendation, I had compelled to pay extra money amounting Rs.650/- on 21.04.2011 getting efficient cooling. Now it is revealed that the dealer as well as SAMSUNG Service Centre, Bankura are cheating me as cooling trouble is once again appeared in the running summer and demanding by the dealer as well service centre around of Rs.4500/- by replacing Condenser to get proper cooling.

    I am very much concerned as well as aggrieved due to manufacturing defect and not providing proper service within the guarantee /warranty period. Hence, my demand is to provide proper service by replacing Condenser , charging Refrigerant and others with free of cost so as to sort out the cooling trouble otherwise I will move to consumer forum to solve the problem

    Hi,
    This is Jayakumar, recently bought an samsung ac in Chennai (India). Within 40 days after being installed, it went down. I have registered a complaint with customer service in this regard with complaint ID: 8441616521, which was registered on 18th Apr 2012. The technician came and said that gas has been completely gone and needs to be serviced by Samsung Technician. But it is more than a week now, still not serviced and we are living in this sweltering heat even after spending too much money in buying this AC. Could you please ask concern department to take a look at this and give importance to the customer.

    It is intimated that i had purchased a 1.5 ton split Ac on April 2009 from E Zone, Kolkata.On 26th april i had made a complain regarding service of my AC, as the cooling was not satisfactory.

    My complain no. is 8429276447.My call was attended on 28.04.12. The mechanic told me that the gas pressure is too low and the repair may not be done at my place and told me that the out door unit requires to be taken to Samsung workshop.He told me that there may be condencer leakage. My Ac is almost new though it is out of warranty. I have two ACs of Voltas which were running smoothly for the last seven years. You are therefore requested to look into the matter personally and get the job done immediately and securely so that the actual fault may be detected and I have pay the actual expenses incurred.

    Samsung India,

    I purchased a samsung window AC in Nov 2011. The AC has developed some fault and stopped working. I had logded a complaint two days back (complaint No-8437943211) and was assured that some one would contact me from the service center and get the issue resolved. ITs been two days that no action has been taken and I have been called the customer care about the status of the complaint. Everytime I have been told that some would come to solve the issue by 8 p:m amd nobody turns up. I am highly annoyed with this and false promises made by the company. Seeing the long list of complaints against Samsung products, I am losing faith in the service and qulaity samsung is promising to offer.
