I have purchased a Samsung Split AC 1.5ton on 24th May 2009. After I got it
installed, it started giving an abnormal sound on 6th June 2009. I
registered a complaint and it was attended in 4days.**

Thereafter, it worked fine for a week after which its cooling became weak.
Samsung personnel came to fix it after a week of my registering the
complaint (Ref No 8410605161)

Again a week later, the cooling again became weak (Ref No 8410605161).
Reason: Gas leakage. I again registered a complaint on 26th June 2009. The
Samsung personnel came on 30th June 2009 to take it for repair. Bt since it
was only a month that we have purchased it, we registered a replacement
request on 4th July.

On 11th July 2009 Samsung engineer visited my place and told me that someone
will come and take the outdoor unit for repair. I spoke to Mr. Narender
(Supervisor at Samsung Service Centre) regarding the same and repaired unit
(a defective unit in the compressor was replaced) was delivered to my place
on 13th July 2009. This entire correspondence took place in the knowledge
of Mr. Satish Kumar (Supervisor at Samsung Customer Care) and we got the set
repaired because Mr.Satish Kumar assured us that we should get the set
repaired till it is not replaced.

On 20th July 2009, the compressor again started giving some strange sound
and the fan stopped rotating. I again registred a complaint with the same
complaint no. (Ref No 8410605161). The engineer came and rectified the
problem (something was struck inside the compressor and the engineer removed
that piece) on 21st July 2009.

Yesterday 24th July 2009 the Compressor again started giving problems. The
cooling is not effective and the fan is rotating improperly.A sound of gas
leakage is also coming from the pipe.

I have called up the Customer Care today and spoken to Ms.Shalini
(Supervisor at Samsung Customer Care) regarding the replacement. But she too
didnt have any definite answer to my question.

The Samsung customer service is worst in the Consumer Electronics market!!!
The Samsung customer care centre executives have no information to give to
the customer except telling that the replacement will take some time. No
facts nor figures nor dates.

The Samsung service centre tell me that they cant help me with this matter.

Mr. Qamar Khan (Samsung- Area supervisor) at 9871994892 never picks up my
call.

I don’t know what to do and whom to approach to get this problem solved.

What's the point of purchasing the AC if it wont work the whole summer.
