    Default Videocon Faulty Split A/C

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    This is to bring to your notice that I Pawan sandhu r/o 518 phase 9
    Mohali,Punjab purchased a new Videocon Split A/C 1.5 tonne product code
    14000010329 from the Next Retail Store Sector 35 Chandigarh on 14/05/09. The
    A/c was installed on the 15/05/09 by the authorized installation team of
    Next Retail store. Since the installation the A/c has a new problem
    everyday.
    First the water started to leak inside the room which was resolved by the
    Next Retail store. Later on the a/c completly stopped functioning and i made
    a compliant in this regard with the next retail on the 15/06/09 after which
    the compressor was changed. This worked for two days and again the A/c
    stopped working and the next retail people say the fan motor is to be
    replaced.
    I have made several visits to the Next retail store and countless phone
    calls to both Next and Videocon but all in vain.I have spoken with Mr.
    M.L.Yadav (videocon service head punjab) who says he has other things to
    look after than my problem of Videocon A/c of which he is the Service Head.
    I was surprised to hear such a response from a person on such a post and the
    company who is not bothered about its image and products.

    I refused to get the fan motor replaced as i want the entire unit to be
    replaced after all i have purchsed a New A/c and within a month the
    compressor has already been replaced and the fan motor needs to be replaced.
    What will happen post warranty if in a month half of the unit has been
    replaced with new parts. I feel i was given a refurbished a/c instead of a
    new one for which i paid the full amount of a new A/c and i'm getting the
    service which is not even expected and deliereved by our local Cable
    operator.

    Kindly give me an answer at the earliest so i can proceed with further
    action in this regard. I didn't purchased the A/c for the winters, i have
    already been left without the cooling for the past 9 days in a row.

    The company owes me an explanation as to what their staff is doing who have
    no authority to take any concrete decisions. Kindly revert back asap as i'm
    running out of patience.

    Default videocon AC Complaint

    On Oct 11th 2008,I went to purchase an split A/C of LG to Shri Surana Electronics but he forced me to buy videocon,believing him I purchased an Split A/c from Shri Surana Electronics,after a week from its installation I am regularly complaining him that my A/C is not working fine but he always ignores my complains,once or twice he sent his serviceman Mr Prathvi Singh,but he also act like his puppet,finally winter came and I stopped using the A/C,when again the summer came in April I again called the Dealer Shri Surana that please check my A/c but he ignored,Finally one day when I got frustated I went to his showroom and asked him to help me then after he again sent that serviceman with some meter,and on that very day I think in middle of April he committed that the A/C is not working and the pipe and the compressor are burst,on the next very day he came with a small welding machine and A/c gas to fill in that but he failed and the compressor leaked again,then he took out my A/c and bought it on the ground floor and from that very day that unit is lying there only,no one came to me to ask about it.Than I contected through web about videocon company they launched my complain(my reference id is JAI (2704090159)) and then sent one man named Mr Vinay he came to me and said that this A/c is been opeaned by some unauthorised man so the warrenty is void and we can't help out now, I again contacted Surana Electronic then he said I left videocon last year and now I am not responsible for anything.I had sent three notices to him but he replied me with all false statements.Sir my mom is not well,I am handicap person suffering from polio. I can't manage to go again and again but these people are simply neglecting me.kindly help me.I got certain proofs so that I can proov him wrong in all his statement.like his recording he said me that company will give 5 years gurentee but it is warrenty.and many more. Now they are saying me that they will repair my A/C but now I don't have f
    1. The internal unit full night makes different types of noises, 2. We can't control the speed of the blower it remains full every time. 3.The pipes and the compressor are burst. 4.Mentally I am feeling very cheated. 5.I think the piece of A/C is used and then after sold to me.
    I want my money back and also the estimated compensesion and to put him a charge of mental harasement. And he should be punished.
