I purchased one A.C. Machine from the Great Eastern Techno City at 15B, Sarat Bose Road, Kolkata-700020 on 27.02.2010. I made a cash down payment of Rs.8836/- for which a money recipt was given to me bearing no. TC/CMR/03290/09-10. I was provided with no other document on the date of purchase and was told by the executive representative of Bajaj Finance that all documents will be sent by post to my address though the blank crossed cheque, pay slip etc. was taken from me including getting the instruction sheet to the bank for deducting the balance amount of Rs.17672/- through ECS in 8(eight) equal monthly instalments. My loan account no. is 4100CD00048656. The ECS is being deducted @ Rs.2209/- every month since April,2010 from my bank -- SBI, Thakurpukur Branch. Every effort to get a document stating clearly the amount of monthly instalment, name of bank, Savings A/c no., start & end month of repayment etc. are yet to be received by me. I had telephoned numerous time to the representative of Bajaj Finance(to whom I fulfilled the requisite formalities to get the loan on the date of purchase of A.C. i.e.27.02.10) but to no avail. I have only been mailed one erronious statement bearing the loan A/c no., name, amount of down payment, balance amount due. There is nothing mentioned regarding my Bank Account (No. & Branch), amount of each instalment, start date of ECS, closing date(also month) of ECS etc. Communicating with the 24B Park Street Branch yielded no result, till date. The loan will be repaid by 05.11.2010 (as each month's ECS is deducted from my above bank account on 5th. Day of every month). Is it not astonishing that I have not received any documents from Bajaj Finance and everytime I try to communicate with them I make a futile exercise. Withal to above, I am receiving calls (no.is +912030917800) offering me cash loan because of regular payment for the last six months--- Funny! When I am asking for redresses of my above problem, it is unheard---- Ridiculous!!!! Only two instalment @ Rs.2209/- is left to repay. Shall I any day in future receive the document of full repayment of loan? Is there any "Guarantee" that Bajaj Finance will not deduct surplus ECS as is generally read in cases in the consumercourt regularly?
