Worst after sale service + the worst product
I am not sure if this is the right email group to send my query and raise a concern. But i believe VOLTAS as a group is a Global Company and believe in providing premier solutions. Being a product based company i would assume it to be more Customer Focussed.
Personally i understand the basics of Service industry as i myself work in a similar industry and try to understand the customer needs and provide adequate solution/support in case of any concern or grievience.
Just to give a brief, i am also a Voltas customer and have concern which i want to bring in to your notice. This all seems very unprofessional to me and had made my family feel so disturbed (as i was out of country most of time)
< I bought a Voltas Vertis(1 tonne Split) Airconditioner in Sept 2008( not used in that year). In mid of 2009, this machine breakdown with the issue of PCB failure.We called a engineer and he repaired it as it was out of warranty. But the ac was hardly used till then.
This year again in month of April(2010), we had the similar issue and called the engineer.
He reported the same issue but he was not able to fix it. Then some senior engineer came down and fixed the machine but the sensor stopped working and cooling has also gone down.
Now 10days back, the same issue came and we called the customer care center and engineer came after 5 days and asked for visting charges before even checking the machine. We agreed to pay him same and he diagnosed the problem to be the issue with PCB again. We asked him to replace the PCB as this has repaired multiple times now.
He promised to replace it the same evening but now its been five days again and that engineer is not contactable after collecting his visting charges. Beleive you have a policy of Do & Charge
We again called customer care center talked to area manager, visited their office and called up senior executives in Hyderabad but stil the issue is not resolved.This has really caused lot of inconvience and the wastage of time for my family>
It seems now that i made a wrong decision in buying this product as i have Hitachi/Samsung/LG airconditioner at my place and their after sale service is really recommendable.
I want to make a request here to help me and provide me some right direction. I have gone through the process of your Customer Care Center but it seems not at all helpful to me as whenever i call them, their support systems are damn slow to entertain by request and no esclation process being defined.
If some Senior Engineer or Customer Service Personnel could call me , i would like to explain my problem to them who can take me out of this problem.
Being a customer, i would expect some response to this request.
I would be highly obliged and really appreciate if my case could be directed to right team to take an appropriate action.

no free service by dealer of voltas ac
we purchased one ton voltas ac from NEW KATARIA ENTERPRISE NEAR MAHAVIRDAL KARNAL (HARYANA) on dated 11/8/2009.No free service is provided by dealer.Neither warranty card and no free service card is given only cash memo is given 6047.
IT is requested to you to say the dealer that they will provide us free service

I bought AC .75 tom at pril, service of Ac will provided by dealer, but very poor service, I suggest do not buy VOLTAS AC , because dealers do not provided free services.

Voltas Vertis Premium 1 Ton Window AC is not working order since Augt. 2010.
I purchased a Voltas Vertis Premium 1 Ton Window AC vide Invoice No. 2/90 dt. 14.05.2010 from M/s. Chandra Air Conditioner, Krishna Market, Shop No. 1, Jalesar Road, Firozabad-283203. The Machine Sl. No. 40109621N10A002417. The AC is not working since Augt. 2010 and I given the complain to service centre as well as your coustomer care on the complaint No. 10AUZ001387 but there is no reponse taken from your side till today. So please solve my problem.

Complain of window ac
Ihad purchsed a window ac two year back.Just after one year its fan motor got failed.Motor replased with new motor and that time ac was quite ok.But after few days it was not cooling properly.After complain it was told that it require gas filling and may be coil replasement.
Ijust want to know why so quickly again and again problem is comming may be some manufacturing problem if yes than please replace with new ac.

A Horrifying Service & A Defective Voltas AC
On 10th April, 2011 I had the misfortune of owning a Voltas AC (Vertis Classic 2 Ton Split AC, Sl No 06619598) and since then it has never managed to give a trouble free service. The outer unit of the AC does not work properly making the fan uprooted from its base and in the process the fan blades get broken every now and then. Your kind gentlemen from the service centers do not much care about the services and are not even competent to handle the root cause of the problem. They do not have a fixed turn around time also and would prefer working at their own sloppy pace much to the agony of the customers. Please find all the complaint numbers that have been raised so far in this regard.

And again on 30th March 2012 through service center (they have taken the fan away again to change the blades though that is hardly the root issue). Since then the only response received from their end is once the fan blades are available they will replace!
A repeated plea to the service center and customer care through raising online complaint have all fallen to deaf years.
Please suggest if I may reasonably expect any assistance from your end to resolve the issue once and for all.

This is to bring to your notice that I bought Voltas AC VERTIS PLATINA from BEE KAY ELECTRONICS, New Delhi on 18.03.2012. It is very shocking to learn that the services of Voltas is absolutely horrible and a person buying Voltas AC will surely undergo a mental turmoil. It is 8th time they are repairing my AC and the problem is still not solved. I was in touch with with Mr. M N MISHRA, who is not ready to replace my AC even if the unit is not performing at all after 8th repair(at their service centre).The PC Board they are replacing has a broken component. Every time they are paying me visit they are replacing/ repairing some or the other part, saying this time it will work and it never works.
I want my unit to be replaced, as every part of the AC is now replaced and still the AC doesn't work fine. It has been a bad experience with AC and such a type of service is not expected from a brand like VOLTAS. My first complain was registered on 6th September 2012. Hope you take a suitable action soon.

Complain regarding voltas ac
This is regarding Complain my split 2 TON voltas 4 star classic split AC. Which was not working from purchase date. I have purchased this AC from your dealer BABAJI ELECTRIONIC . BANDHA on dated 21-08-2012. After instaltion last year I have registeres copmlain in toll free no many time & every time technician came & not able to solve the problem. Now in this summer again when we started the AC it was not cooling & from last three days daily I am registered my complain in toll fee no but not getting any responsed from VOLTAS till date.
I want my money should be backed from company it has been very bad experienced from Voltas AC & I was not expect such type of service like Brand / Compeny Voltas.
Now I feel I have taken a wrong decision to go for Voltas. When I see other brands I found there services are far far batter then you & they respect their coustomers sentiments. So please to manage refound my money.

Platinum 4-s AC VOLTAS (2 TON).......COOLING SYSTEM not working,horrifying service of customer care
Dear Sir This is regarding voltas AC ( Platinum 4s...4 star) which i purchased from new cooler enterprises Ranchi on 11.11.2012 which is not working, cooling system is ineffective which i came to know on 16.5.2013 night, when i desired the need of AC due to scorching heat. On 17.5.2013morning reported the , problem to customer carethroughthe toll free nos18002664555/18004254555...complaint no....13 MY1700714 but till date the problem is not sorted out. Now a days there is scorching heat at Ranchi .Now i badly feel that i did wrong by purchasing an AC of VOLT AS make. Now I do feel that this AC should be replaced immediately or my money should be refunded because neither the customer care nor the local mechanic is supporting me this not good for such a reputed company like TATA.
