I'd given my Fiat Palio car for servicing at Pandit Auto, Tilak Road, Pune on May 12, 2010 at 9:00 am. The service supervisor informed me that he will give me a call the next day after the regular servicing for informing the estimate of other works and parts to be replaced. I requested him to deliver the car to me by Saturday i.e. May 15, 2010, he never called me back to inform me the status of the work done and upon calling him he always told that the work is going on. When I went personally to check the progress of the work on Saturday, I was informed that the enire work is done except one or two small works and I should get my car back on Monday. When I called up on Monday, I was informed that it may take another 3-4 days time. I called up people in Tata Motors and Fiat and complained about the poor service but of no use. Yesterday i.e. on May 18, 2010, I received a call from Pandit Auto stating that the linkage of Wiper is not available with them and the entire assembly needs to be replaced alongwith motor. When I checked in market the part is easily available but they refused to fit the part purchased from outside. I told them to return my vehicle wihout changing the assembly and told them that I'll get it replaced from outside. In the estimate slip the amount mentioned was Rs. 6500/= for all the works I requested but today I received a call from the company stating that the amount will go upto Rs. 22000/= that too without the complete work done. The vehicle is yet to be delivered to me. Please advice.
