    Please note that the major complaint during my car service in July 2009 was
    the ineffective cooling of the AC. This complaint had been a regular case
    during my earlier service visits as well. Each time, my driver was assured
    that the gas has been re-filled or the fan has been repaired etc. I was too
    busy with my business botherations & so took out my frustration on my driver
    instead of personally talking to the service technicians. Finally, during
    the July service, I put my foot down & demanded that my AC be replaced under
    warranty. My driver came home with the car after the service & shocked me
    with the service bill raised upon me.



    I was charged Rs. 11,000 approx towards Condenser & Rs. 2000 approx towards
    AC Gas Charge. The next morning first thing I did was test drive the car
    myself. The AC did not start cooling untill 20 mins of running. Even the
    interior lights over front & rear seats were not working. This problem did
    not exist when the car went for servicing. I was thankfull to my 1 year old
    son due to whom I found out this problem. He was always fascinated on
    watching the lights work & I playfully switched them ON to make him happy,
    only to realize the careless workmanship of the service people at skoda.



    I immediately informed the local dealership people including Mr. Pattnaik at
    9777942600 regarding the continued AC problem & the new light problem! I was
    told to send back the car or service which I was very unhappy on hearing as
    I was too busy to attend to such issues. Unfortunately, I could not get time
    to re-send the car for service, as usually the car could only go for service
    until it was very unavoidable and I was out of station for a couple of days.



    Finally, I had to leave for Kerala on a week long holiday after diwali &
    thus sent my car for servicing with strict instructions of AC & Light repair
    alongwith some denting etc work. Surprisingly, even after 8-9 days, my car
    service was not attended / completed. I tried calling the service point
    (including Mr. Pattnaik at 9777942600) many times but could not get through
    either due to No Reply or Cell not reachable?! Thus, I sent an SMS on
    31-10-2009 requesting Mr Pattnaik to complete my car servicing by 2-11-2009
    as I was facing lot of problem without my car. Upon getting NO RESPONSE from
    anybody, I had to personally go to the dealer point on 2-11-2009 and met Mr.
    Ali (Service manager) asking him on why I was being harassed so much?



    I was shocked to discover that neither my AC was attended nor my interior
    light was repaired!? I again requested him to replace my AC & repair my
    interior light under warranty immediately and deliver my car within 24
    hours. I handed him my visiting card & requested him to inform me on my cell
    upon completing my service. But again, No contact was made with me and I was
    kept waiting. Finally, I called Ali and enquired about my car. I was told
    that AC work will be only done during next service & rest everything is
    complete. I requested him & Pattnaik to allow my driver to take delivery of
    the car and assured them that I will study & pay the bill within the next 24
    hours. Surprisingly, I was refused a simple credit of less than 24 hours on
    vague account related grounds. Upon obtaining the new bill, I found that I
    have been exorbitantly charged for electrical filters, synthetic oil, repair
    works, part costs, etc.



    My grievance is the manner of service rendered to me & the harassment given
    to me. Also, the reason why my AC was left unattended & why not replaced on
    the first instance itself. It is common knowledge that skoda AC give jitters
    during the first year run itself and even my brothers skoda AC was replaced
    shortly after much resistance! Who is responsible for the light fault during
    the service? Why have I been so exorbitantly charged on the spare parts and
    whats the rationale behind changing the engine oil etc only after 7500 km
    run? Hats the rationale behind charging me for small things like door
    adjustment etc & why were these things left unattended during the July
    service? Why was I embarrassed with refusal on a car handing over credit
    period?



    I await answer to all the above questions & wait to live with my worst
    humiliating experience from Mahavir Skoda. The dealerships indifference will
    force me to go deep into the cars service history and discover other
    possible abnormalities as well as discover my legal options.

    Angry I have problem in my car dashboard

    I would advice not to buy skoda laura or any car of skoda theyare bigg cheater in india there is no one to attend on there toll free number if they lift the call they do not have answer to my question . The dashboard of my car have problem it make noise and gulfboxs is not of my car the dealer have changed with other skoda car i have dealer from punjab krisha auto sales amritsar and sumit was a boy who scold really he is were good in saying lie and false statement. My car service book i got after 2months on 7 oct 2011 i bought the car and on 9 dec 2011 they gave after a big fight if any one from company read this sms and could do any help with my car can call me 09848030000 but i really do not have any hope i thought twenty lakhs in well now i am planning to go to court and case on dealer and on factory .....................

    Subject: Skoda FBI low pickup and Clutch Issue.


    Respected Sir / Madam,




    Recently i have noticed the low pickup speed in Skoda Fabia TDI and took the car to dealer named Europa Auto Wakad Pune.
    After check up it was told that clutch issue is there in the car.
    I am surprised that in 25000 kms of run this issue has cropped up and what is not possibility that again it will crop up after replacement.


    i want to point here to "Skoda genuine part" being used in the car and there sub standard quality.Does it not make sense for "Skoda" to repalce the part free of cost as it gave up quite early .






    My concerns are as follows:






    1.Failure in Detection and diagnosis of real cause


    i have many friends and relatives with which i have discussed the fact and came to know that in 1.5 years and 25000 kms vehicle can not behave in the way it is behaving at the moment .There is no pick up speed.i have kept all the measure to drive the vehicle in best way and i can vouch for it.Why this problem could not come up before why after 25000 kms of driving.
    Also i will like to bring to your notice that "pick speed" was always problem with this vehicle from day one of purchase but it got benefit of doubt that vehicle is new and it will improve going forward.which i highlighted to advisers but got same explanation that it will improve.


    2.Oil Slippage from beneath the vehicle and on the vehicle near all wheels.


    There are lots of semi solid black oil sapping out from below the vehicle especially all four alloy wheel area. In my apartment only my parking lots is having lots of black sediments lying beneath the vehicle.
    Pls note : if require i can send you picture of black sediment accumulated in the parking space in all these days.
    There are all types of model available in the apartment having various years of usage and none are showing this characteristics .Hope "Skoda" will not mention that it is usual to have these sediments beneath the vehicle after all this belongs to skoda.
    Can you investigate the matter for this sapping out of black sediments like "mobbil".
    hope this has no relation with driving style mentioned below.
    3.No proper advise or check up the vehicle during service at Europa auto
    I have visited 3-4 times the europa auto and did not got any feedback of the above conditions in the vehicle in positive way.


    4.Slow in spare parts availability resulting in more damage .
    Still bonnet above front tyre is having damage and i could not got it rerplaced because i was mentioned that spare parts are not available.please come later.


    Can you please let me know who will have to pay for all these damages for the owner of skoda whose car is only 1.5 years old and having 25000 kms running.


    there are many cars in the market and i can see that they are running quite smooth with less hiccups.


    Looking forward for your prompt action in this direction.
