Dear Sir,
I have a Hyundai i10 car (HR 26 AU 6530) which I have bought in
November 2008 from Safdarjang Hyundai Gurgaon. I took my car for the
second free service to the same service station, and I am very sorry to
inform you that my experience there was very bad. The service was not
upto the standards which are claimed by your company.
As you are aware that the oil filters are changed during the second free
service, one of the pipes connected with the engine oil filter was left
loose and as a result the engine oil drained out completely. This
happened during an outstation visit and I was left stranded for hours.
Fortunately I noticed that the engine oil was leaking because of a loose
nut (leaked only while the car was running) and 3.1 liter of engine oil
was drained out completely. Had I not noticed the fault in time engine
would have ceased completely and you have a better estimate on how much
it would have costed me.
Sir, I want to know why such a negligence was committed when your
company talks about high customer satisfaction standards. This incident
has caused me to loose all my faith in Hyundai and now its forcing me to
regret on my decision of buying a car from this company.
I request to you to please take appropriate actions against the
person/persons responsible for this and please let me know how the
company can make sure that such incidents are not repeated in future.
PS: Sir I have taken these email ids from the company website and you
may not be the concerned authority to address these issues, I regret for
the inconveniences' caused and request you to please forward this to the
concerned persons. I look forward for a positive response and hope that
Hyundai will stand upto its customer satisfaction commitments. I had
also called Safdarjung Hyundai for a complaint but the did not handover
my call to any responsible person to attend.
