Dear Sir/Madam,
I own a Tata Indigo Dicor bought in January 2008. I went for getting my car serviced at Automobile Sterling, Sector 8, Noida (as they are the one of the authorized service centers by Tata Motors in this area) on 10 October 2009 (around 10 AM) and complied to whatever recommended changes that were suggested by the Surveyor to get the car in a good condition. The issues were mainly Black Smoke coming out of the car exhaust, engine getting heated fastly & coolant getting depleted fastly.
I got the car back on 11 October evening on payment of Rs 7,500 with bills related to change of Engine Oil, Oil Filter, Fuel Filter, Filter Element, Break Oil, Vee Belt, Thermostat, Gasket and much more.
It was to my surprise that even though they took 2 days to service my car and as per them they have changed almost all the necessary things the smoke coming out of the car has remained same, Noise Level inside the cabin has increased, there is lot of vibration inside the car and there is a teasing noise of some belt which is coming regularly.
I went to the Service Center today to tell them the same and show them the problems but even though each of the things that I have written were explicitly visible (and were recognized by those guys when I went for servicing) are now being negated by them as the payment has already been made and now I am on the receiving end.
I have somehow convinced them to see it again tomorrow and would visit them at 9 AM to get their view on the same again but now I am not very comfortable with leaving my car there as I find these people not so co-operative and trustworthy particularly after I have shown them that almost all the problems are still there.
I as a customer of esteemed TATA brand would like your help in getting a good service & satisfaction as that is what TATA stands for. I would also like to know as to what all is legally possible to get these guys do a good service of my car.
Warm Regards,
Naveen
