I had bought Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman (White) from The Mobile Store last Sunday (10/06/2012).
On Monday afyernoon, i found that the colour of the back panel had start faded out, like a crips formation occurs beneath the walkman logo at the back, seems like colour was burned due to irresistable temperature, and the phone was not misused as it was brand new and i have not even inserted the sim card into it or have clicked a single shot or used any other apps.
I went to the Sony service center at Swaroop nagar, and complained them about the issue. They simply told without even checking the fault properly that Sony do not provide any warranty for Cosmetic parts.
The main concern is that everyone, i.e. The Mobile Store people as well as the Sony Service centre people agrred to the fact that the phone was not misused or fallen or broken by the customer as it was a maufacturing fault, but then too they are not replacing it as they kept on saying the same thing these faults doesn't come under any warranty, not even for a single hour from the date of purchase.
I have spend around 14K bucks for it and within 18-20 hours the issue happened.
Sony had manufatured the faulty handset and now after sales not even looking into the customer's complain.
After many discussions and when i called the customer care guys, they told me that they would gonna replce it on next day.
When I went there on next day, they told me that they havn't recieved any feedback regarding my issue.
Surprisingly or even Astonishingly, the Sony customer care and even the Sony service center kept on misguiding me.
Sony always kept on saying that they provide superior services to their customers, but the fact is they just Boast, and are the worst in services.
REALLY DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM SONY, THOUGH IT MANUFACTURED ADVANCED PRODUCTS. BUT WORST SERVICE AS THESE GUYS JUST CONCENTRATE ON THEIR SALES AND NOT SERVICES.

It was not even 8 months since I bought my Sony Vaio that it had the typical characteritics of getting slow and showing Not Responding in all applications. Since, at that time I couldn't format my laptop so I thought of postponing my visit to the service center. I should also mention that since I bought the same, the speakers went off once, the bluetooth software failed once and the screen started getting green and blank. Luckily then, I hadn't stored much data coz it was almost 2months old, so I gave it to the service center, where I knew it had to get formatted 'coz no matter what the problem is, they format or restore your laptop to hit and try to find a solution to a problem that you are facing. Any which way, I was satisfied that atleast the problem is solved, not knowing that I had bought a basket full of problems with Sony Vaio. The hard disk got corrupted later and they said that it was out of warranty then. If someone is listening, I'd like to ask the life of ypur hard disk. I could have blamed my 'being a girl' for the demise of my hard disk but it just didn't happen with me but everybody who had purchased a Sony laptop in 2010. The Laptop is now resting in peace. Please do NOT ever buy a Sony Laptop. It's useless.

last year in may i purchased an ipod on warranty of 1 year.but it has stopped working and it needs to be replaced.!!
